At the age of seven, I fell head over heels in love with makeup. It all began one magical night when my babysitter allowed me to stay up late and watch the iconic movie Grease. Witnessing Rizzo's mesmerizing transformation of Sandy, I was captivated. The power of makeup to metamorphose a schoolgirl into a confident, alluring woman ignited a fire within me. The very next day, I found myself drawing makeup palettes on the back page of my coloring book, eager to experiment. I even convinced my little sister to be my canvas, pretending to apply makeup on her face. In that moment, my destiny as a makeup artist was sealed.
For me, makeup is an artistry that allows me to unlock and celebrate the natural beauty that resides in each individual. It brings me joy to witness the transformative power of a skillfully applied brush or a perfectly blended shade. Whether I'm creating timeless bridal looks, enhancing the radiance of prom-goers, bringing fantastical characters to life for Comic-Con and Halloween, or delighting children with whimsical face painting at birthday parties, I am truly in my element. It is through makeup that I am able to express my boundless creativity in the most rewarding way.
In 2009, I embarked on a journey of professional growth and education, graduating from Spa Tech Institutes Advanced Esthetics program and earning my Cosmetologist license. These accomplishments were merely the foundation upon which I built my expertise. As a beauty adviser for Bobbi Brown and a freelance artist for Smashbox, I had the privilege of working with renowned brands and expanding my knowledge of the industry. Recognizing the importance of staying abreast of trends and mastering new techniques, I attended workshops and sought guidance from industry icons. Most recently, I had the incredible opportunity to study under the tutelage of the talented and knowledgeable makeup artist, Debra Macki. These experiences have enriched my craft and allowed me to continuously refine my skills, ensuring that I consistently deliver the highest level of artistry to my clients.
I believe that makeup should be a celebration of one's individuality, an enhancement that reveals and uplifts natural beauty. My mission is to empower individuals, regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity, to embrace their unique features and radiate with confidence.
